Rio

Rio is half greyster and half hound and was bred in Scotland. Her parents are some of the fastest dogs in the UK and her father led his team to the silver medal at the World Championships. She is from an interesting breeding and if she has half the potential of her parents, she will be awesome.

She is one of the smartest dogs I know and was very naughty as a puppy, but Vickie picked her right from the start, she has attitude and that’s what the truly special dogs need. Even though still young she keeps pace with the older dogs and we think will probably run as co pilot on the 4 dog team when old enough. Her quick thinking means she learns very quickly, but this often gets her in trouble. We’ve had to change the locks on the kennels as she can open them all…..a dog with attitude and one to watch.

Start times:

Winter - 10am
Autumn / Spring - 9am
Summer - 8am

For the welfare of the dogs, Rides may be subject to time/date changes according to the temperature, so please leave time around your adventure in case of time changes.

We will give you as much notice as possible if rides need to be altered.
Summer Rides are all: 8am starts, please note in the summer due to temps and the teams welfare, we start early mornings if it is hot closer to your booked in date then we may move your booking up to 6am at the earliest, we may do this with in the last 24 hours if we feel its in the safety of the dogs, if too hot then we would postpone your ride, please note we do not refund or re book if we time change so you need to be flexible.
